CANCELLED Social Studies Bootcamp 2023 - Inquiry (Appleton)

**Note - Bootcamp 2023 (both venues) is being cancelled due to low registration and poor planning on my part.  Registration is closed.  

Social Studies Bootcamp is back in person!  Join Kris McDaniel, WI DPI Social Studies consultant, for a two-day event focusing on building inquiry units in your social studies classrooms.  You will be introduced to an inquiry planning tool based on Dr. Gholdy Muhammad's five pursuits for Culturally and Historically Responsive Literacy (which was the basis for Virtual Bootcamp in 2021), and have time to actually build your own inquiry lessons, projects, and units based on your district curriculum.  

As always, you will have a lot of time to talk with district teams and across districts.   We strongly suggest district teams attend to help build units of study, especially at the K-8 level. 

The two venues and dates (July 6 & 7 in Madison and July 13 & 14 in Appleton) will have the same content experience.  Cost is $90 per person. Registration closes 8 days before the event (no exceptions).  Each venue is open to 100 people.
